This is probably the easiest cat ears DIY you will find this Halloween season. They are super simple to make, and you can dress them up anyway you want with either a simple black dress, black pants and a comfy black tee, some cool cat make-up.....and do not forget our brand new cat charm!!
What you will need:
-Black felt (we chose black with sparkles in it) + Pink felt
-Hot glue gun
-Cat ear cutouts
Step 1) Use your "Cat ear cutout" templet provided in the "What you will need" section. Cut out four black felt cat ear pieces. (The bigger cut out shape). Do the same on the pink felt with the smaller cut out (you will need only two pink pieces). This will be used for the inside of your cat ears.
Step 2) Lay out all of your pieces to prepare to glue them together. (four black, two pink)
Step 3) Add hot glue to the top portion of your black pieces.
Step 4) Glue the other black felt piece to the other. Leaving the bottom open.
Step 5) Put hot glue on the back of pink felt piece.
Step 6) Press pink smaller piece onto your black felt piece.
Step 7) Do the same to the other side. Press down to secure it.
Step 8) Place the felt pieces on the headband where you want them before you glue them down.
Step 9) Add hot glue to the bottom of the black piece, wrap it around your headband and press down to secure it.
Step 10) Hold down for a few seconds to make sure it is secure.
Step 11) Do the same thing to the other side
Step 12) Secure both side, let glue dry, and enjoy your new cat ears!
